Residents of East Ridge Retirement Center are anxiously awaiting the yearly outing to the Strawberry Festival in Dayton, Tennessee.
This outing is always a resident favorite because there are so many great things to do...a boxed lunch at a picnic area, the huge parade with marching bands, floats, horses and buggies and other entertainment, crafts and antiques galore, concessions featuring strawberries, of course. The strawberry shortcake, homemade strawberry ice cream, strawberry smoothies, the list of strawberry delights just goes on and on.
If you visit the Strawberry Festival in Dayton, Tennessee on Saturday, May 12, look for the enthusiastic and energetic group from East Ridge Retirement Center. We are usually the group having the most fun!
